Nineteen Weeks Pregnant

Week 19 already, and you are almost to the halfway point! This week is full of important changes as well as some slight irritations.
It seems like everything about your body is changing: hair, nails, belly, breasts, mood...why not your skin! Your skin has been on a roller coaster ride, from acne to glow, and now itchy and dry. Not only is your skin stretching, creating discomfort, itchiness, and stretch marks, but your body is also struggling to stay properly hydrated. This dehydration can wreak havoc on your skin, making it flaky and dry. Now is the time to make sure to drink plenty of water and eat a diet conducive to healthy skin. Lubricating skin with cocoa butter and other nourishing lotions can help ease discomfort and prevent marking. Just make sure that whatever products you use are safe for pregnancy.
